Keyboard controllers initiate a trigger on every key, which is depressed in sequence specifically to fire the envelope generator. Ribbon Controllers, Sequencial Controller Complements and Envelope Followers, all output V-trigger which initiate the action of this module as well. Characteristic spectral sweeps associated with the articulation of a note by an acoustic instrument are simulated by utilizing the Envelope Generator to control the frequency cutoff of the SW 904A Low Pass Filter, SW 904B High Pass Filter or other associated modules. With considerable attenuation, the Envelope Generator can create tunable glissandi when controlling a single oscillator.
