Description

Acid Rain Technology Ziggurat

The Ziggurat from Acid Rain Technology is a four-channel pitch quantizer that can pilot your patch with ease, keeping you harmonically correct. Using the intuitive interface, simply create a note mask that will usher your incoming voltages to the correct pitch, changing it on the fly if you'd like and applying offsets to transpose in realtime. Each note can be individually slewed with a range of 0.1–5s and the voltage range can go as low as -4V all the way up to +8V.

If you find your self only needing a few channels of quantizing, Ziggurat's quartet of channels is still plenty useful, using the Chain option to turn a channel into an SH101-style sequencer where you can input a series of notes and step through them with a gate signal. An assignable Mod input allows for dynamic modulation of any parameter, enabling a vast range of creative patching options that help your harmonic or melodic framework evolve and shift. If you're looking for an easy way to get your whole system working together in harmony, the Ziggurat from Acid Rain Technology does all that and more with elegant efficiency.
