Description

The Bananalogue VCFQ is a Eurorack multimode filter module, based on 1970s analogue design philosophies.

The module has four outputs: hi pass, lo pass, notch, and bandpass. Two inputs, one with attenuator that can be overdriven and one with "auto-gain compensation" - this input uses a vca to duck the signal to prevent distortion when the q increases. Trig in allows a pulse to ring the filter for percussive effects. Range switches the response from audio to subaudio, allowing for processing of cv signals.

Cutoff frequency has both an attenuverter input and a 1v/oct input (not thermally compensated). Resonance has an attenuator input as well (this is where the vcfq gets its name from).
