Doepfer A-143-1

Doepfer’s A-143-1 module features four independent AD generators. Up to four units can be daisy chained together to that each preceding one triggers the next. Each can be used as either an AD generator or AD-style LFO, meaning they have exponential slopes instead of the linear ones found in traditional LFOs. Each AD generator features a polarizer and a mixer that sums all polarizer outputs. This means that each section’s signals can be sent to the mix output and adjusted accordingly

A-143-1 Features

• Four independent Attack-Decay envelopes
• Each can be switched into free-running mode, giving 4 LFOs
• Envelopes can be daisy-chained for complex envelope shapes
• Comparators for each envelope provide a threshold which when crossed by the rising envelope signal, a gate is sent out, for more complex interactions in the envelope design. 
• Individual polarizers for changing the range of the outputs of the envelopes
• Mix output for a quick complex envelope output
