Description

A-180-6 is a triple voltage buffer module with separately adjustable levels for each unit. The maximum amplification is 1 (factory setting) but can be changed to 2 (by installing a solder bridge).
Inputs 2 and 3 are normalled to the preceding unit. That way the module can be used for the distribution of only one signal (inputs 2 and 3 are open) or for up to three separate signals (with all inputs connected).
For input 2 the kind of normalling can be changed so that the (potentionally attenuated) output voltage of unit 1 is used as default signal for input 2 (by altering a solder bridge). In this case level control 1 affects also the units 2 and 3 provided that the input sockets 2 and 3 are not wired.
Input socket 1 can be normalled to +5V by means aof a jumper. In this case the module can be used also as control voltage source (replacement for the obsolete module A-176). The output voltage range is 0...+5V or 0...+10V according to the selected maximum amplification (1 or 2).
