Broken Tape Simulator MK2

The Broken Tape Simulator MK2 is a tabletop lo-fi and glitch effects device that recreates the sound of a broken tape recorder. Perfect for lo-fi, glitch, and delay textures, it lets you control pitch, bit rate, feedback, and compression for evolving, unpredictable sounds.


Key Features

  • Wet/dry control — use as a delay or lo-fi effect

  • High-quality switches for precise control

  • Pitch and bit-rate manipulation — slow or fast knob movements change feedback

  • Sensor input with light response and big offset knob

  • CV input for external modulation of the main parameter


Connectivity

  • Works standalone or in Eurorack / with Korg Volcas

  • Power included — 9 V battery clip (center positive) and power cable
