FX Aid XL Stereo Effects with Dedicated Parameter CV

The Happy Nerding FX Aid XL combines 32 selectable audio effects with separate CV modulation inputs for all three effect parameters and a dedicated Sample Rate Reducer (SRR) input. Shape stereo audio with hands-on controls and bring several modulation sources into your effects patch at once.

Its effects are arranged in four banks of eight, with four storable presets for recalling your selected program and control settings. Choose black, silver or gold panel options to match your system.

Customize and Update Your Effects

FX Aid XL is not limited to its factory effects. Reflash it with other Happy Nerding effects arranged in your preferred order. The standalone FX Aid editor also supports loading custom or free Spin programs.

To enter reflashing mode, hold both buttons for 10 seconds. Play the approximately 40-second update WAV file at line level into the SRR input on FX Aid XL. The standard 4HP FX Aid uses its CV input instead.

Dry/Wet CV Behavior

The dry/wet CV control operates in reverse: positive CV crossfades from wet to dry, while negative CV crossfades from dry to wet.
