Intellijel Designs MEMS Mic 1U

Intellijel's MEMS Mic 1U is a version of the powerful and petite MEMS Mic module, which adds a great sounding omnidirectional microphone right into your case for live sampling, feedback, and more. At the core of the MEMS Mic is a Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System microphone, similar to those used in phones, cameras, and other mobile devices. Incredibly small yet boasting a flat frequency response from about 6Hz to 20kHz, the MEMS Mic captures audio in rich detail. This makes for a great way to bring the sounds of your environment into your rack, letting you process sounds with unique modular samplers like Multigrain, add effects, or even exploring audio feedback as a sound source. Controls are simple, with a manual Level control and CV input alongside an optional low-cut filter for reducing ambient noise.
