The Moog Messenger is a monophonic analog synthesizer featuring thirty-two full-size, semi-weighted keys, dual oscillators with wavefolding, a morphable sub-oscillator, and Moog's signature ladder filter—this time reimagined with modern versatility. At the heart of its sound is the Moog ladder filter, expanded with high-pass and band-pass modes and the RES BASS switch, which lets you either retain the low-end as resonance climbs or strip it for that classic thinning effect. Two loopable ADSR envelopes and a pair of LFOs provide depth for modulation, whether you're dialing in shimmering leads or trance-inducing rhythmic pulses. Sequences of up to sixty-four steps come alive with parameter recording, probabilistic behavior, and a configurable arpeggiator that veers from locked-in grooves to unpredictable, generative flutters.
Built for both studio integration and stage performance, Messenger includes six CV patch points, USB-C and 5-pin MIDI, external audio input, and pedal support. With 256 preset slots (240 factory-loaded), pitch and mod wheels, glide control, and a solid metal chassis, it offers both immediacy and depth. In every interaction, Messenger invites you to give in to the siren's call and set a course straight from creamy, warm bass to cutting, aggressive leads and everything in between.
