The STARTER RACK 2 includes several IMDI capable modules; IMDI is a kind of "patchable MIDI", meaning, you can use MIDI inside a modular synth (almost) identical to CV and gate signals, with the advantage of more complex control, easy polyphony (with polyphonic modules) and great DAW integration of your AE modular. Even with this STARTER rack you can control the 2OSC R2 with IMDI, the SEQ8 R2 generates IMDI (besides of CV/gate), and the MASTER module provides IMDI from it's MIDI input. The case is extensible; via a joint kit (not included) another case of this type can be attached at a free angle; the bus is connected via a short connector cable.

It is shipped completely with Power supply unit, MIDI breakout cable, a bunch of patch wires of every type and a quick start guide - all you need to start your modular adventure!
