HINGE KIT TYPE 1



The case hinge kit allows it to join two cases at a free angle. It contains

• two joint elements
• four screws
• a connection cable between the cases.

This type is designed for an application where one case is flat on the surface and the other one mounted at a certain angle. The triangle shape has the advantage that the contact to the surface is exteded to the rear side so the complete unit has a stable stand.

Via the connection cable the bus and power supply is shared between both cases, so no extra power supply / second MASTER module is needed for the additional case.

Please note: This works only with the new cases available since January 2019. For connecting previous cases the RACKLINK module can be used, see here.

The case hinge kit allows it to join two cases at a free angle. It contains

• two joint elements
• four screws
• a connection cable between the cases.

This type is designed for an application where the lower case is already fixed above the surface (e.g. when mounting a third case to a combination of two cases connected with the hinge kit type 1).

Via the connection cable the bus and power supply is shared between both cases, so no extra power supply / second MASTER module is needed for the additional case.
