Vostok Instruments Hive

Hive from Vostok Instruments is a compact, four-channel stereo mixer with individual panning pots per-channel, a master volume control knob, and CV-controllable panning. Each channel is equipped with its own Gain control, which can add up to +9dB of gain to the incoming signal, bringing your external line level gear up to modular level. Additionally, the Master volume knob allows you to add an extra layer of gain-staging to your patches directly from the module. Multiple Hives can even be chained together to create channel expansions or submixes—just use the dedicated connectors on the back, and build out your customized mixing utility however you see fit.

Create complex stereo fields with the per-channel Pan CV inputs, which allow you to easily weave motion into the fabric of your patches. Hive uses its own custom panning-law slope, designed so that every channel's corresponding Pan pot provides exceptionally smooth panning manually, or with CV. You even translate mono signals into stereo as well, as Hive will normal a single mono signal to both channels, allowing you to use the Pan pot to raise or lower the Left and Right outputs respectively.
