FX Aid Stereo Effects in a Compact 4HP Module

The Happy Nerding FX Aid brings 32 selectable audio effects to your Eurorack system in a compact 4HP format. Shape stereo signals with three effect controls, an analog dry/wet mix and assignable CV modulation.

Organize your effects into four banks of eight and save four presets for convenient recall. Choose silver, black or gold panel options to match your setup.

Effects and Modulation Features

• 32 audio effects: arranged in four banks of eight.
• Three effect controls: adjust the selected program's parameters.
• Analog dry/wet control: blend the processed signal with a dedicated CV input.
• Stereo signal path: process stereo audio.
• Assignable CV input: modulate effect controls or the Sample Rate Reducer, which changes the internal clock.
• Four storable presets: save the selected program and all three effect-control settings.
• Persistent settings: CV assignment, presets and the last-used effect are remembered after power-off.

Customize Your Effects Selection

FX Aid is not limited to its factory selection. Reflash it with other Happy Nerding effects in your preferred order. The standalone FX Aid editor also supports loading custom or free Spin programs.

To enter reflashing mode, hold both buttons for 10 seconds. For this 4HP version, play the approximately 40-second update WAV file at line level into the CV input. The FX Aid XL uses its SRR input instead.

Dry/Wet CV Behavior

The dry/wet CV control operates in reverse: positive CV crossfades from wet to dry, while negative CV crossfades from dry to wet.
